File Sharing is the practice of or ability to transmit files from one computer to another over a network or the internet. P2P File Sharing allows users to access media files such as books, music, etc using a P2P software program that searches for other connected computers on the same network. Some examples of P2P file sharing are websites like Limewire, or Bearshare. Which allowed you to share digital files containing music or movies and share them with a computer in the same network. Privacy and Confidentiality are often confused. Privacy is:  is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves, or information about themselves, and thereby express themselves selectively. While confidentiality is:  the state of keeping or being kept secret or private. These days the word "privacy" with the internet triggers debate since Eric Snowden leaked reports. The internet alone and all of these social media platforms like facebook, instagram... have all of the information that you put out there even messages. We trust/hope that these platforms remain Confidential when dealing with our private information, but that goes to say that nothing on the internet is private even if a post was deleted it can always be retrieved. 

Attached is the my snapchat bitmoji avatar. On the Snapchat social media app platform instead of seeing my picture next to my name you see my bitmoji. My bitmoji represents me on snapchat. So whenever I post a story or send my friends a photo or a message my friends will see my avatar pop up.

New Media fosters creativity because it gives the individual the right to write anything he/she pleases in the way that he/she pleases. With Old Media, if I worked for a newspaper company, Theyll tell me what stories I need to write, how many words to put on a page, which column i'm in etc. It gives the writer very room for creativity. Thats why everybody has there specific newspaper that they like to read and there specific news channel they want to watch. However with new media the writers of blogs and Wikis are free to do as they please. A writer can decide to write in any form or style she wishes, whether they are trying to persuade you with your opinions, or just give you facts with nobody over them editing or telling them what right and wrong. The writer has the freedom to be as creative as they want. In the article "1+1+1=1 it speaks about how new digital media has led people to create there own music mashups.

Virtual Worlds are made up worlds that try and represent reality. The idea that technology has came this far already is just mind boggling. I've tried out VR games before and I must say the experience was unreal. A massive pro I see with VR is active gaming is that we all see kids growing up today glued to the technology put infront of them instead of playing outside. It used to be that our parents would have to yell and drag us back inside from playing outside, these days parents are begging there kids to go outside. You cant blame these kids that it got way easier for kids to play basketball when playing on a couch with a controller in your hand. However thats why in my opinion I feel like VR can bring some good and create video games or VR games that make the kids move around and actually be active because of the kids are going to be playing the video games anyways lets atleast make them active while doing so. After visiting and using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and snapchat. I'd have to say that even though I do agree with the fact that facebook is being taken by the older generation by article "Twitter Winning Teens As Parents Flood Facebook" I still believe it is my favorite social media platform. To be honest I get most of my news updates from Facebook, and even watch Facebook videos more often than youtube videos. Facebook allows you to do anything from saying hello to a friend and renting an apartment off Facebooks marketplace. Since Instagram and snapchat are the newest platforms they are the most used ones by children and teens. Although instagram is very similar to Facebook (since facebook owns it), to me it's just the #2 just because you can do a ton more on facebook.
