File Sharing is the practice of or ability to transmit files from one computer to another over a network or the internet.

P2P File Sharing allows users to access media files such as books, music, etc using a P2P software program that searches for other connected computers on the same network.

Some examples of P2P file sharing are websites like Limewire, or Bearshare. Which allowed you to share digital files containing music or movies and share them with a computer in the same network.

Privacy is:  is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves, or information about themselves, and thereby express themselves selectively. While confidentiality is:  the state of keeping or being kept secret or private. These days the word "privacy" with the internet triggers debate since Eric Snowden leaked reports. The internet alone and all of these social media platforms like facebook, instagram... have all of the information that you put out there even messages. We trust/hope that these platforms remain Confidential when dealing with our private information, but that goes to say that nothing on the internet is private even if a post was deleted it can always be retrieved.
