A new type of New Media that doesn't exist that I think should be out there are medical Wikis that can only be edited by the Top cure researchers in the world and they should add and edit information on the most harmful diseases out there, and there search results for cures. This way researchers from all around the world who theoretically don't have to know each-other or ever meet in person, can together find cures to the deadliest diseases known to man. This page should also have VIEWING content only for the worlds population. This way the people can be educated on these diseases and know where our Researchers and doctors are on finding cures.

    I definitely agree that this type of new media should exist. We have a huge population of doctors who aren't fully powered with the knowledge of all the different types of diseases known to man, but only know the basics. This will definitely help them as professionals and us as potential patients to share our knowledge and have a reliable source to find diagnoses and cures on.

Privacy and Confidentiality are often confused. Privacy is:  is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves, or information about themselves, and thereby express themselves selectively. While confidentiality is:  the state of keeping or being kept secret or private. These days the word "privacy" with the internet triggers debate since Eric Snowden leaked reports. The internet alone and all of these social media platforms like facebook, instagram... have all of the information that you put out there even messages. We trust/hope that these platforms remain Confidential when dealing with our private information, but that goes to say that nothing on the internet is private even if a post was deleted it can always be retrieved.
